One-time licenses. Self-install with the guided wizard is always free — professional installation is optional.
Under Envato-style terms: Regular = free end product; Extended = end product may be sold. Neither license lets you redistribute uNexGenDesk as stock or as a multi-client developer license. Read the full FAQ below, and always confirm the exact terms on the CodeCanyon listing. Installation service is arranged separately.
No. uNexGenDesk includes a guided web installer that runs entirely in your browser. It checks your server requirements, tests your database connection, creates your admin account and finishes the setup — all without a command line, Composer, or Node.js on your server.
uNexGenDesk is available on Envato Market (CodeCanyon) at codecanyon.net/item/unexgendesk-aipowered-helpdesk-ticket-system/64843956. During installation you enter your purchase code and uNexGenDesk verifies it against Envato.
In simple terms: under the Regular License your end product (incorporating uNexGenDesk) is distributed for free; under the Extended License your end product may be sold. Freelancers may still charge a client for build/setup services under a Regular License when that client’s end product itself remains free. Always read the full license on your marketplace for details.
If end users must pay to see or use the end product (SaaS, subscription, paywall, or a product you sell), you need the Extended License. Multiple end users are fine as long as there is only one unique end product.
As long as all end users can freely access the end product, the Regular License is fine. Being a commercial business does not by itself require Extended — you need Extended when the end product is sold (or requires payment to access), not merely because you operate commercially.
Yes — you can create an end product for a client under the Regular License and charge for your services, provided the end product itself is free for its end users. If the client will sell access or charge end users, that end product needs an Extended License. There is no developer / multi-client license: one license covers one end product, not unlimited client installs.
No. You can’t license the item and make it available to others as-is (as stock or a stand-alone product), under either license. An Extended License still covers a single end product — it is not multi-use, multi-domain, multi-client, or a developer license, and it does not allow an app/service that generates customized copies for many users under one purchase.
Yes — uNexGenDesk includes appearance settings for your logo, brand colors and fonts. If end users pay to access the product (for example a paid SaaS helpdesk), choose the Extended License. If you’re delivering one free-to-use install for a client, Regular is typically enough. Confirm the exact terms on your marketplace’s license page.
Your branding, appearance, languages, workflows and settings are stored in the database, so they carry across updates. If you edit core source files directly, keep a record of those changes so you can reapply them after upgrading — the usual practice for any self-hosted script.
Yes. A live hosted demo is available at unexgendesk.codeglen.com/demo with Admin, Agent, and Customer portal logins. Browse freely; create/update actions stay locked on the shared instance. The installer also includes an optional demo-content toggle that seeds sample tickets, users and saved replies on your own install.
Envato Market includes a standard support period bundled with your license (commonly six months, extendable). After purchase, open a ticket at support.codeglen.com.
No. uNexGenDesk is a self-hosted, one-time purchase — you run it on your own server with no recurring per-agent SaaS fees. Your data stays on your infrastructure.
Live chat uses WebSockets (Laravel Reverb) for instant delivery, with an automatic polling fallback so messages still arrive even where persistent sockets aren't available. For the best real-time experience, a VPS or a host that allows a long-running process is recommended.
